Common Tasks

  • Import audio: tap + on the Files tab or use WiFi Transfer.
  • Convert format: select a file → Convert → choose output format (MP3, AAC, FLAC, WAV, OGG, M4A, WMA, M4R).
  • Trim audio: select a file → Trim → adjust start/end points, add fade in/out.
  • Remove noise: select a file → Denoise → adjust noise reduction level.
  • Voice changer: select a file → Voice Changer → choose a preset (Chipmunk, Robot, Deep, etc.).
  • Extract audio from video: go to the toolbox → Extract Audio → select a video and choose output format.
  • WiFi Transfer: go to the toolbox and tap WiFi Transfer, then open the displayed URL on your computer.

FAQ

Does the app upload my audio files?

AudioEditor is designed as an on-device editing tool. Your audio files are processed locally on your device. The WiFi Transfer feature only works on your local network. For details, please refer to the Privacy Policy.

What audio formats are supported?

The app supports MP3, AAC, FLAC, WAV, OGG, M4A, WMA, and M4R (ringtone) formats for import, editing, and conversion.

How do I transfer files from my computer?
  • Open WiFi Transfer from the toolbox.
  • Make sure your device and computer are on the same WiFi network.
  • Open the displayed URL in your computer's browser to upload/download files.
What Pro features are included?

Pro unlocks 20+ audio tools including: Equalizer, Denoise, Remove Vocals, Amplify Vocals, Voice Changer, Reverb, Fade In/Out, Reverse, Loop, Channels, Stereo Widen, Loudness Normalization, Speech to Text, Processing Chain, and Podcast Toolkit. Can I extract audio from a video?

Yes. Go to the Toolbox tab and tap Extract Audio. You can select a video from your photo library, optionally trim a time range, choose the output format and quality, then extract.

How do I report a bug?

Please email us and include the steps to reproduce the issue, a screenshot or screen recording, and (if possible) the original audio file that triggers the problem.

Subscriptions & Purchases

If you subscribe to Pro, the subscription may auto-renew unless you cancel it in iOS.

Payments are processed by Apple. We do not receive your full payment information.

Troubleshooting

Audio processing failed or output is silent
  • Make sure the source file is not corrupted. Try playing it before editing.
  • Some formats (OGG, WMA) require intermediate conversion. Try converting to MP3 or WAV first.
  • Force quit the app and try again. If the issue persists, restart your device.
WiFi Transfer is not working
  • Make sure your device and computer are on the same WiFi network.
  • Go to iOS SettingsPrivacy & SecurityLocal Network and enable access for AudioEditor.
  • Try a different port if the default is blocked by your network.
Imported file does not appear
  • Make sure the file is in a supported format (MP3, AAC, FLAC, WAV, OGG, M4A, WMA, M4R).
  • Pull to refresh the file list or switch tabs.
  • Check that your device has enough free storage.
App crashes during processing
  • Very large audio files may require more memory. Try closing other apps first.
  • Make sure your device has enough free storage for the output file.
  • Update to the latest app version from the App Store.
