FAQ

Does the app upload my meditation data?

No. Meditation Timer & Sleep Sounds stores all data locally on your device. Meditation sessions, mood entries, and journal content never leave your device. For details, please refer to the Privacy Policy.

How do I set a daily meditation reminder?
  • Go to Settings in the app and tap Daily Reminder.
  • Choose your preferred reminder time and enable notifications.
  • If prompted, allow notification permissions. You can also enable them later in iOS SettingsPrivacy & SecurityNotifications.
Why isn't sound playing during meditation or sleep?
  • Check that your device is not on silent mode (flip the mute switch).
  • Make sure the volume is turned up.
  • In the app, confirm the sound track is selected and the volume slider is not at zero.
  • Try force-quitting the app and reopening it.
How do I sync my meditation sessions to Apple Health?
  • Go to Settings in the app and enable HealthKit Sync.
  • When prompted by iOS, grant permission to write Mindfulness Minutes and Sleep Analysis.
  • You can manage these permissions at any time in iOS SettingsHealthData Access & Devices.
How do I report a bug?

Subscriptions & Purchases

If you subscribe to Pro, the subscription may auto-renew unless you cancel it in iOS.

Payments are processed by Apple. We do not receive your full payment information.

Troubleshooting

Audio is not playing during meditation or sleep
  • Check that your device is not on silent/mute mode.
  • Turn up the volume on your device and within the app.
  • Force quit the app and reopen it.
  • Restart your device if the issue persists.
HealthKit data is not appearing in the Health app
  • Open iOS SettingsHealthData Access & Devices and confirm write access is enabled for Meditation Timer & Sleep Sounds.
  • Complete at least one meditation session after granting permission.
  • It may take a few minutes for data to appear in the Health app.
Reminder notifications are not arriving
  • Go to iOS SettingsNotificationsMeditation Timer & Sleep Sounds and make sure notifications are allowed.
  • Check that Do Not Disturb or Focus mode is not blocking notifications.
  • Re-enable the reminder in the app's Settings to reschedule it.
My session history or streak seems incorrect
  • Make sure you tapped Complete (or let the timer finish) to save the session.
  • Session data is stored locally — uninstalling the app will permanently delete all history.
  • If the issue persists, please contact us with your device model and app version.
